Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I bought alot of your stuff at otakon and I wanted to say that I loved all of it. I mean some fan comics or fanzines, or whatever have the most well put together books but the story might be terrible. Your stuff tho was sheer brilliance.

I bought the first three issues of Your comic Asali and I loved how it looked under ground in appearance but the story and art were superb. I felt that I was really reading a professional book. Doesn't matter to me if it was seen as a manga, and amerimanga, or a traditional american comic, the backgrounds, the story everything. The pacing was brilliant.

This is why I go to cons, for stuff like this. I get as many fan comics as I can. (Kinda like taking a look at the competition or seeing how other artists do things) And your comics were by far my favorite. I go back and look at them all even now.


I loooved The FLCL doujin as well, for you to be able to adapt the manga style to yours and make it look like an offical flcl book, I really thought there was a lot of care and respect there. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication. It has inspired me and I really hope I can one day be that good.
